NEW evidence proves:

Oticon More™ outperforms top competitors

8 out of 10 people prefer Oticon More

Amazing new results from testing in real-life, complex sound scenes show that Oticon More hearing aids give the brain better access to speech. At the same time, they give faster access to more of the relevant sounds all around, in higher fidelity1. And this leading sound quality is preferred by 8 out of 10 people with hearing loss, across different sound environments2.

Compared to two top competitors, Oticon More gives:

  • More speech

Better access to speech coming from around the wearer

  • More sounds

Access to more of the relevant sounds in the sound scene

  • Faster adaptation

More rapid adjustment to changes in the sound scene

  • Higher fidelity

Better preserved sounds with more contrast and details

How we tested three of the world's best hearing aids

Learn about how Oticon More performed against two other leading hearing aid brands in complex real-life environments

  • Part 1: Better access to
    speech around the wearer

Discover how this is possible without shutting down other important sounds

  • Part 2: Faster access to more
    sounds in higher fidelity

Dive into the details and see how Oticon More preserves the sound scene with more detail and clarity.

  • Part 3: 8 out of 10 prefer the sound quality of Oticon More

Read how people with hearing loss rated Oticon More against two competitors in different sound environments.

Key findings in our three studies:

Oticon More gives the brain better access to speech around the wearer while providing more sound – not less!

You can see in the graph how Oticon More hearing aids outperform Competitor A and Competitor B at giving access to speech coming from the side – and this is just one of the findings.

All together, these tests prove that Oticon More hearing aids give the brain better access to speech in complex sound scenes while also giving the brain better access to more of the relevant sounds all around.

What is more, the tests show Oticon More gives faster access to more of the relevant sounds all around, in higher fidelity. This means the brain can be more easily aware of what's going on all around – helping people to participate seamlessly in their everyday lives.

8 out of 10 people prefer the sound quality of Oticon More

After measuring the audiological performance of the three hearing aids, we then studied how people experience the sound quality.

We asked people with diverse types of hearing loss to evaluate the sound quality in different sound environments, in a preference test.

Again, Oticon More outperformed the competition. Not only did Oticon More get the highest average rating in the different sound scenes. An amazing 8 out of 10 people preferred the sound quality of Oticon More over the two competitors, when listening to speech through a facemask and conversations in a restaurant or a café.

This is how BrainHearing™ takes hearing care to the next level

Oticon's leading innovations such as using a Deep Neural Network – and our whole new approach to hearing care – come directly from our unique BrainHearing philosophy.

BrainHearing is based on the realization that the brain is the world's best sound processor! This is why Oticon always focuses on understanding and supporting the way the brain naturally makes sense of sound. It's what we do differently.

So when research showed the brain needs access to the full sound scene in order to work in a natural way4, our response was to make a new generation of brain-friendly hearing aids: Oticon More.
